Welcome to Research Contracts

The Research Contracts Team are responsible for drafting and negotiating the legal contracts for research at University of Reading. This includes everything from multi-million pound grant agreements and consortiums to studentships, non-disclosure agreements and consultancies carried out by academic staff.

Setting up a new contract

The first step is to contact the Contracts Manager for the school or category, who will aid in the drafting, review and negotiation of the contract with the research partners. Contract Managers will also confirm and sign agreements on behalf of the researcher.
