Supporting your learning

  • Autumn term: Blended learning approaches support those with primary degrees outside of food and nutritional sciences, while still challenging those building on primary degrees in the discipline.
  • Spring term: Modules build on your learning and focus on food science innovation through case studies and product reformulation projects, informed by the latest research.
  • Summer term: Your earning culminates in a research project that can be conducted at the University or with one of our industrial partners.

In addition to taught modules, you will undertake a research project. With the guidance of world-class researchers, you'll take part in projects that are often linked to our groundbreaking work within the field. This will not only help you develop your research skills, it will give you an edge in the food and nutrition sectors.
