Our MSc by Research Pharmacy Practice programme is suitable as preparation for PhD studies and for pharmacists wanting to combine research with a career.

MSc by Research in Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience

This programme has an established reputation for research in neuroscience disciplines. You’ll receive training in a wide range of experimental techniques, and will have access to industrial laboratories and facilities.

Our MSc by Research Formulation Design and Analysis offers you fantastic research facilities, training in a wide range of experimental techniques and strong links with industry.

How you'll study

Core modules

When you choose one of our masters research programmes, the first 11 weeks of the course are spent undertaking core taught modules to gain practical and theoretical experience.

Research project

Once you've completed your core modules, you will then take part in a 30-week research project to put your learning into practice. We have many research projects to choose from, for each of the three masters programmes on offer.

Many of them go on to work in industry and as researchers at NHS organisations.
